Meeting New Friends Across the Ocean

For the past four years, the Columbus Jewish Federation’s Partnership 2000 (P2K) Young Partners Program has engaged in a bilateral teen exchange. Eighteen teens, nine each from Kfar Saba and Columbus, have built relationships, explored Israel and learned from new friends on the other side of the ocean.  During the experience, the youth create a mutual pact – determining a common set of values and goals for the teens to achieve as part of their joint community volunteer activities throughout the year. The year-long Project begins in Israel and concludes in Columbus.
